An electric curtain track is a modern solution that automates the daily opening and closing of curtains. It provides greater convenience, comfort, and easy control in the home, office, hotel, and other public spaces.
It is also known as a motorized track, electric curtain rod, or automatic curtain system.
The curtains move smoothly along an aluminum profile with the help of a quiet motor. Control is possible via remote or the Soft Touch function, and with a Smart motor – also via mobile phone and pre-set schedules.
Convenient control via phone and remote
With an electric track, you can open and close the curtains using a remote control or a mobile app.
This is especially convenient for:
- large panoramic windows;
- heavy curtains;
- high or hard-to-reach windows;
- rooms with multiple windows;
- hotels, offices, and conference rooms;
- people with limited mobility.
Depending on the capabilities of the selected system, you can also operate the electric track when you are not at home. This makes it easy to check if the curtains are closed and, if necessary, operate them remotely.
Automatic opening and closing
One of the most useful features of the electric track is the ability to set a schedule.
For example, you can set the curtains to:
- open automatically in the morning;
- close in the evening;
- limit strong sunlight at specific times;
- provide more privacy after sunset;
- move according to a pre-created smart scenario.
This way, the electric track becomes a natural part of the daily rhythm of the home.
Soft Touch – control with a gentle touch
One of the important advantages of the electric tracks from Colori is the Soft Touch function.
Even when your phone or remote is not nearby, it is enough to gently touch or pull the curtain in the desired direction. The motor recognizes the movement and automatically continues opening or closing.
This makes the electric track easy and intuitive to use for everyone, without the need to always have an app or remote control handy.
Additional benefits of the electric track
In addition to convenient control via phone, remote, and the Soft Touch function, the electric track also offers a number of other practical benefits.
Less strain on the curtain
Manual pulling is one of the main causes of premature curtain wear. With each pull, the force is concentrated at one point, which stresses the fabric, gliders, and hooks. This leads to faster wear, stretching, and over time, even tearing of the curtain.
The electric track eliminates manual pulling—one of the main causes of curtain wear. The motor provides smooth and even movement along the entire length of the track, which protects the textile, gliders, and hooks, and extends the life of the entire system.
Quiet and smooth movement
Thanks to the precise operation of the motor and the Soft Start & Stop function, the curtain starts and stops without jerky movements, creating a sense of precision, comfort, and premium quality with every use.
This makes it suitable for:
- bedrooms and children's rooms;
- living rooms;
- home offices;
- hotel rooms;
- offices and conference rooms.
Suitable for large and heavy curtains
When choosing heavy curtains for large windows and panoramic glazing, common in modern new construction, manual operation is often inconvenient. The heavy weight of the curtains requires more effort during each daily opening and closing.
The electric track is the perfect choice for:
- panoramic windows;
- large glass fronts;
- high windows;
- heavy and thick curtains;
- hard-to-reach places;
- windows located behind furniture.
Regardless of the size and weight of the curtain, the motor ensures smooth and even movement with the press of a button.
